At a committee meeting last evening we decided to cancel the National Championship scheduled for December – January at Sandringham Yacht Club due travel uncertainties.
A more recent meeting has confirmed the impractical conditions that continue to exist hence the 2022 Nationals will not be held. Holding the championships later in the year was investigated but clashes of dates and seasons in concert with the restrictions of various State Governments made running an event like this unworkable. 
Our thanks for all the preliminary work by Sandringham Yacht Club and, in particular, James Sly, Stephen Fries and Richard Machin. 
The 2023 Nationals will be held next March, immediately prior to the 2023 World Championships, off the coast of Fremantle by the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.
