Race 5 started in rain around 6 to 8 knots through the race.Charles Apthorpe managed to pull through the tough going with Greg Wells second and Steve Goacher third.
Race 6 was a clean start first time, with Crispin Read Wilson leading, Charles Apthorpe and Philippa third on the first lap, Philippa lost some places on the second work to come 11th and the best Australian, closely followed by John Wilson and Peter Rooke.
