The FFIA AGM was held on Wednesday 15th January at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron when Russell Dawes was elected as President. Jeff Vance was elected Treasurer, Ronald Packer, Ray Sebo and Michael Clark continue in their positions of Public Officer, Chief Measurer and Secretary respectfully.

I am pleased to announce that Ron Packer was elected a Life Member of FFIA for his consistent support to the Association as Public Officer and a Past Secretary. Ron is the man who keeps our constitution in line with ASIC’s requirements and changes proposed by the membership. He is also the Secretary’s goto person for any tricky legal queries.

The AGM also approved a $10 fee increase payable by the State Associations to FFIA.
